SOA Watch has just produced a bilingual broadsheet for the November 18-20, 2005 Mobilization to Close the School of the Americas (SOA/ WHINSEC) in Fort Benning, Georgia. It contains basic information about the SOA, a calendar of the weekend?s events, logistical information on accessibility and travel and a hotel listing in English and Spanish. The broadsheet places the November Vigil in the context of the growing hemisphere-wide resistance to militarization and exploitation. It also features a call on people of conscience to engage in nonviolent direct action by crossing the line onto the Fort Benning military base as part of this year?s vigil. In order to distribute the November Mobilization Broadsheet to the widest possible audience, we are making it available for only the cost of shipping ($25 per box). We would appreciate, however, if you could include an additional donation of $30 per 500 copies, which will cover the printing costs. The first round of shipments will go out in September.
